It is very important to have a correct length of lead. Around 6 feet is best. Any shorter
and you will find it very difficult to leave it loose. Made from cloth is good, and
leather is even better.
No other type is suitable and that includes chain leads.
With a leather one, you should apply Dubblin, used for waterproofing, softening and
preserving leather. |

Collar:

standing in front of the dog facing it, the chain will look like the letter P, and not Q.
When put on, try it before using it. Try by pulling away from the dogs right shoulder, and
it should release and loosen itself.
